According to a report,
around forty percent of women who choose mammogram are diagnosed as having
dense breasts, which is a critical condition and should be addressed as soon as
possible. Of course, it is not an illness; however, it makes it quite difficult
to diagnose the signs as well as symptoms of breast cancer.
The reason is dense tissues
look like cancerous tissues; that’s why doctors suggest mammography, other
tests to detect cancerous cell. Most of
the time, doctors suggest Chemosynthesis, which is the best screening test. It
is often carried out to identify signs of breast cancer. It is a non-invasive
test in which breasts are studied carefully.
Any type of abnormality in
the breast tissue structure becomes apparent in the images. An expert
radiologist then studies these images. These anomalies can be categorised as cancerous
or non cancerous as per their properties. However, here, it must be noted that if
a woman has dense breast tissues, it becomes critical to differentiate between
normal tissue and cancerous one.
That’s why to confirm the same, additional
screening tests are recommended. One of the screening tests that is quite
effective is Magnetic resonance imaging. It is carried out to deeply study the
structure of the breast tissues as well as the blood flow.
According to medical
reports, cancerous tissues have abnormal or increased blood flow, which can be
easily detected. It is also an non invasive technique; however, not ideal for pregnant
women. So, if you have dense breast, you
should not ignore it and must talk to your doctor to undergo screening.
