Change Your Lifestyle to Manage Breast Cancer



According to some medical reports, it is not clear that why some women develop dense breasts. In other words, why younger women tend to develop dense breasts as well as some post-menopausal women lose breast density. The reason could be anything from hormonal changes during menopause.
However, it is well known fact that some younger women may have fatty breasts while some older women develop dense breast overtime. According to some doctors, women who have imbalanced lifestyle, smoke daily, obesity, imbalanced diet, and other hormonal factors also cause breast density in women.

Breast density can be identified using mammography, a diagnostic test that uses low dose x-rays so that they do not affect women. Here, it must be noted that having dense breasts are not an abnormal condition and should be mistakenly ignored. Because according to doctors, there is a relationship between breast density and breast cancer, which may or may not be there. 

But in overall case, dense breasts may increase your chances of developing breast cancer. But it must be remembered that breast density should be reduced to reduce the overall risk of breast cancer. Hence, it is advisable to talk with your doctor about breast density and discuss its impact.  

Doctors suggest certain lifestyle changes to address the problem of dense breast. From balanced diet, exercise to consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables. All these things can balance the condition and allow people to lead their normal life. Hence, as a patient your aim is to undergo a screening to detect dense cancer.
