Dense Breast and its Treatment

Women give birth to child. We all came in existence because of women.

When we couldn’t been able to feed ourselves as a new born, she feeds us with her milk from the breasts. So how can we let the woman, the mother, suffer with cancer? And which is because of the very breasts, from which keeps us alive as a new born? Most of the women suffer today, with the breast cancer disease. According to the breast cancer statistic, in U.S alone, every 8^th women have a life time risk of having breast cancer.

The dense breasts are being recognized by the mammogram. Mammogram recognizedit as dense breast tissues appear white on mammogram.

Breast tissue consists milk gland, fatty tissue and dense tissue. When viewed on mammogram, dense tissue appears white and Non-dense breast tissues appear much darker.

3-D mammography

3-D mammography, is being used which helps to form a 3-D image of the breast. Many of the mammogram centers are using 3-D mammography as standard mammogram technology.

Breast MRI-

Breast MRI is recommended for the women who have a high risk of getting cancer. Especially those, whose close family member have suffered from the breast cancer before. MRI doesn’t use radiation. It uses magnets to create images of the breast.
